Why AEO exists

Search behavior has split. A growing share of buying questions — "best HVAC company near me," "which dentist in Miami takes new patients," "top white-label SEO agencies" — are now asked directly to AI assistants. The AI doesn't return a page of links. It returns one synthesized answer.
